International Capabilities for an Interconnected World

In 2013, SSG established an international alliance of special situations focused investment banks called Global Special Situations ℠. This alliance enhances our service by combining the personal attention of our boutique investment banking platform with global access to investment banking professionals on the ground across the globe.

In addition to U.S.-based SSG Capital Advisors, GSS is comprised of Brazil-based TCP Latam; Germany-based Saxenhammer & Co.; Asian-based Teak Capital Corporation and; JLA Asia; India-based L&T Infrastructure Finance Company Ltd; and London-based Hannam & Partners. Each firm has a unique focus on special situations advisory services; including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, capital raising, valuation, financial restructuring and bankruptcy/insolvency advisory. In addition, each firm has a track record of closing several cross-border transactions.

Since its establishment, activities of the alliance have included client cross-referrals among the membership, joint pitches and engagements for deals where global scope is required, and buyer and/or investor identification for specific transactions. GSS is currently in discussions with new members, with the ultimate goal of having a single partner in every significant economic market in the world.
