Established in 2000 and based in Orange, California, HealthBridge Children’s Hospital – Orange CA, L.P. (“HealthBridge”) is a pediatric specialty hospital focused on providing acute pediatric care to children recovering from serious brain injury, acute illness or other life altering diseases.  The hospital has a distinct skilled nursing facility unit approved by the State of California to provide both acute and sub-acute care to medically complex and technology dependent children.

Situation

With a significant demand for pediatric care in Southern California, the 27-bed facility has experienced consistent high occupancy rates and profitability over its history.  After remaining a family-owned pediatric specialty hospital for nearly 20 years, its owners decided to explore strategic alternatives in order to continue the hospital’s current success, and drive growth.

Solution
